SEPTEMBER SCREENING
Esther is about to screen for the first time short film SEPTEMBER. A cast
and crew screening will take place both in London and Bristol. Both in June
2008.

Esther has just received finance from SOUTH WEST SCREEN to develop her feature THE NUMBER 9, working with producer Stewart le Marechal and script editor Kate Leys.
As writer/director, Esther has had pet project MOTOMARVIN (AKA SEPTEMBER), a mind messing short film in development with CINEMA EXTREME 2007. The project also reached final short list for the WARP FILMS/BBC NEW TALENT AWARD.
The film has just been shot in the west country, having received funds from WHIRLWIND MEDIA and SOUTH WEST SCREEN. the piece features TIM PLESTER, NICOLAS AARON and new comer GEORGIA.
She is now in post production.

The BARGAINS, an experimental dance short, co-written with regular collaborator Kam Gandhi (POPPY and DELILAH) received IN 2007 finance from South West Screen. Using ancient filming techniques, combined with digital technology, the film is being produced by Bristol’s’ Whirlwind Film and Animations. Music by Hawk and a Hacksaw.

Esther has been developing with MET FILMS low budget feature THE NUMBER 9, with finance from South West Screen.
‘When the youngest of three decides to track down her mum by following
the number 9 bus on foot, the departure compels her peculiar siblings to leave
their isolated home in order to bring her back. Set over one day, negotiating
a weird world in limbo within sprawled suburbs divided flyovers and motorways,
the family travel closer to the truth of their situation and finally, one
another.
Currently raising finance for its workshop development, Esther is simultaneously
working with script editor, Kate Leys.
