During 2026 Kitchen Table Photo Club have been playing around at the Youth Club at The Safe ‘Ouse, in The Dings, central Bristol. They have been making art too. All their creative play times culminate over two days - the 18th and 19th July, when the club will be exhibiting the images and photos, music and maps they have created plus hosting play sessions for all ages. Join in.

All the art trails and photo workshops and the exhibition are free to access and open to anyone intrigued and curious. The intention is simple to inspire and explore ways to encounter the world around us with wonder.

Those coming will discover what art emerges from a group of locals and visitors exploring a small urban park with a basketball court, some trees and The Safe ‘Ouse community hub. The club have co-created these artworks with props, cameras, make believe, crazy games, percussion, discussion and an inquisitive creative mind. Out of this deep play comes Bundles, a set of 35 photo prompt cards, made up of specially created artwork on one side, with instructions for play and creation on the other.

Each day there will be a chance to:

• Go on a photo play walkabout/exploration with the magnificent Bundles cards. This is ideal for a group (over 2 or more) with an adult. Bring your own camera or use a phone camera.

• After the photo-play session return to The Safe ‘Ouse to receive a free pack of Bundles.

• Pick up a Dream Map and visit treasures and locations created and known by the local children in the Dings Park. This is for anyone. Children require supervision.

• Visit an exhibition of images and listen to the very limited edition cassette tape of music and sound recordings made during the KTPC sessions
